You DO need to decide the overall height of your trellis system and that dictates all of your equipment to build the system from that point on. A full size trellis can range from 14ft to 20ft tall and allows for full growth of hop bines.
An equipment list includes 22ft poles, turnbuckles, auger earth anchors, hundreds of feet of sisal rope and braided and galvanized aircraft wire cable, etc. And last but not least, irrigation supplies.
